Pros

Deals a large amount of her total damage while performing her Charged Spinning EX attack which applies devastating amounts of Assault but also allows Piper to move while casting.
Can quickly apply the Flinched state to enemies thanks to her fast Physical Anomaly buildup increasing Daze the afflicted target takes by 10%.
After performing a fully channeled EX spin and accumulating 20 stacks of her Power buff, grants the entire squad an 18% Damage % buff boosting her own and other character’s output.

Cons

Has incredibly limited potential teammates she shares a Faction or Elemental synergy with outside of other Physical DPS who she’ll need to compete with on-field time for on. Lucy is her only non-DPS who doesn’t take up said field time and is also her faction companion.

When using Special Attack: One Trillion Tons, EX Special Attack: Really Heavy, or Ultimate to launch a downward smash that hits an enemy, the Physical DMG dealt by the move is increased by 10%. For each stack of Power, this buff is further increased by 1%.
M3: Truck Expert	Basic Attack, Dodge, Special Attack, and Chain Attack Lv. +2.
M4: Refined Techniques	Whenever a squad member inflicts an Attribute Anomaly on an enemy, Piper recovers 20 Energy. This effect can trigger once every 30s.

Best W-Engines

	Roaring Ride	When EX Special Attack hits an enemy, one of three possible effects is randomly triggered for 5 seconds. This effect can trigger once every 0.3s. The same types of effects cannot stack. Repeated triggers reset the duration allowing several effects to be active at once: increases the equipper’s ATK by 8/9.210.4/11.6/12.8%, increases the equipper’s Anomaly Proficiency by 40/46/52/58/64, increases the equipper’s Anomaly Buildup Rate by 25/28/32/36/40%.
	Fusion Compiler	Increases ATK by 12/15/18/21/24%. When using a Special Attack or EX Special Attack, the equipper’s Anomaly Proficiency is increased by 25/31/37/43/50 for 8s, stacking up to 3 times. The duration of each stack is calculated separately.
	Electro-Lip Gloss	When there are enemies inflicted with Attribute Anomaly on the field, the equipper’s ATK increases by 10/11.5/13/14.5/16% and they deal an additional 15/17.5/20/22.5/25% more DMG to the target.

But if no support with an element matching the type of anomaly being applied is available, can be run by the Anomaly damage dealer themselves. This set causes all EX Special Attacks to apply a 20% Anomaly Buildup Resistance reduction to the same element as the wearer for 8 seconds to all enemies hit. If this debuff is the only source of Anomaly Buildup Resistance reduction you have, its equivalent to enemies triggering anomaly at minimum 20% faster of the specific element. This set is a huge boon for Anomaly based teams and is a top priority to have on at least one character in the team.
	Fanged Metal	Competitive option for direct and Anomaly-based Physical damage dealers granting 10% permanent Physical DMG% from the 2-PC and 35% increased DMG against enemies inflicted by Assault by any party member for 12 seconds. DMG% bonus against enemies will be up the majority of most fights against boss-type enemies thanks to its long duration and ability to trigger from any team member allowing a Physical based Bangboo/teammate to assist with uptime via their own Assaults.

Lucy

Due to the nature of Piper’s kit, she wants to spend some time on-field in order to execute her fully charged EX Spinning Slash, meaning she ideally doesn’t want to compete with other damage dealers who would soak up the time she needs. This requirement makes things difficult for Piper as the only other Physical characters.
